Both of these are great! I love the composition in the sunflower photo.
Critique: Both photos seem *slightly* too yellow. Try adjusting the color in Photoshop. Also, the first photo might have been even better and shown the relationship more if you had zoomed in on just the faces of the cat and your daughter.

I like how you captured the whole area in your walking path the water and telephone poles all the the picture dimension.
